Join us for our 1st Annual Birdie Bake Off Cookie Swap & Holiday Wine Tasting Event at the enchanting "Lodge at North Park" in Seven Hills — a truly magical winter wonderland!

 

Imagine the cozy ambiance ... warm "wood cabin" inspired walls, Christmas music floating through the air, the sweet smell of holiday cookies all around, garage doors opening to gently falling snowflakes (hopefully!), the warmth of outdoor heaters on a patio with a view of a pristine 30-acre nature preserve covered in a glittering white blanket of snow, and all your friends & family gathered togther in their holiday best, toasting to the magic of the season!

 

It’s truly the SWEETEST  holiday idea brought to life, and it’s all for YOU to enjoy with your flock and fellow bakers at this very special event!

 

Here's how this incredible event will work:

 

Each participant will bake and bring 6 DOZEN of their favorite holiday cookies -- two dozen of which will be cut into bite sized samples & set out for sampling and judging by all in attendance, 4 dozen which will be reserved for the swap! After an hour of mingling & sampling everyone's cookies, guests will get to choose 48 cookies from the delightful assortment to box up and take home, just in time for the holidays!

 

To balance all that sweet goodness, Little Birdie Wine Nest will feature one of our signature cheese & charcuterie grazing displays for snacking, alongside a tasting of FOUR of our favorite holiday wines, ALL INCLUDED with your ticket!

 

A cash bar featuring full glasses of our featured holiday wines & whimsical holiday cocktails will also be available for purchase as well as some festive little stocking stuffers, perfect for gifting this season!

 

Tickets are just $45 per person, but they’re limited and expected to sell out very quickly. Don’t wait — Reserve your spot at what’s sure to be one of the season’s most unforgettable gatherings!

  • Q: Where is this event being held?

    This event is NOT BEING HELD AT LITTLE BIRDIE WINE NEST,  but rather, about 2 miles down the road at "The Lodge at North Park" in beautiful Seven Hills.  5740 Rockhaven Drive, Seven Hills OH 44131

    Q: What time does the event begin and conclude?

    Doors to the lodge will open for arrival + set up as early as 6:30pm, with the event officially beginning at 7:00pm.  The actual "swap" is expected to begin around 8:00pm, and conclude by 9:30pm.  You’re welcome to stay until the event concludes, or leave after selecting your cookies & enjoying your wine!

    Q: When and how do tickets go on sale?

    Tickets will be available starting Monday, November 4th at noon EST. Tickets are anticipated to sell quickly, so we highly recommend being ready to purchase right at that time.

    *Each ticket purchase requires the cookie name and a brief description, which you will not be able to switch later - So, be sure to come prepared to the website registration ready to enter all of the required information. Tickets "in your cart" are not secured, nor held in any way, until the financial transaction is officially complete. 

    Q: Do I have to give you a full ingredient list at the time of checkout, or share my family recipe? What are "common allergens"? 

    No, and no. We just need to know if your cookie will contain: milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, or soybeans.

    *Please note, everyone in attendance will need to sign a waiver to participate at check in. We will do our best to notate allergens on various cookies, but ultimately by participating in this event you are taking the risk of consuming a home baked product and will be required to waive liability of LBWN to participate. This event is not recommended for those with severe allergies.

    Q: How much does a ticket cost?

    Tickets are $45 per person and include participation in the cookie swap, a cheese & charcuterie grazing display to snack on, and a tasting of four holiday wines. An additional cash bar will be available at the event.

    Q: Can I buy multiple tickets at once? 

    Yes, you can buy multiple tickets in one transaction. However, each ticket requires registration for each guest, including name, contact information, cookie type, and description - so purchasing in smaller quantities may help you secure tickets faster.  

    Q: Is it okay to buy a ticket for a friend? 

    Yes, just be sure to fill out each ticket with the correct guest’s name and cookie type. YOU MAY NOT LIST YOUR OWN NAME & CONTACT INFORMATION FOR ALL TICKETS & TRANSFER LATER. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold. Do not write TBD in any of the sections - Your purchase will be flagged & immediately refunded without opportunity to purchase in the future. 

    Q: What type of cookie should I bring?

    ANY type of cookie that you can dream up is welcome! There will be various awards for our favorites, so be sure to bring your best work for the chance to win fantastic prizes!

    Q: Do I have to stick to one type of cookie for all 6 dozen?

    Yes, each guest should bring 6 dozen cookies of the same variety.

    Q: Can I change my cookie type after purchasing a ticket?

    NO. This is a big one - to avoid confusion, and ensure accurate labeling for potential allergens, the cookie type you list at purchase is final.

    Q: If I bring a popular cookie, what if other people make the same one!?

    Some overlap is fine! Most people use different recipes, so flavors still vary, making for a unique experience even if types repeat.

    What should I bring my cookies in? Cookies must arrive in disposable containers - foil pans, gift boxes with parchment, or disposable platters are fine!

    Will ingredients be displayed for those with allergies?

    Full ingredient lists / recipes will not be given - but we will ask if common allergens are present in your cookies and provide that informaton on the cookie label at the event.

    Q: Will there be savory snacks besides cookies?

    A: Yes, we will provide one of our gorgeous & delicious signature Cheese & Charcuterie Grazing Displays for everyone to nosh on, included with your ticket!

    Q: Can I purchase a ticket for a guest / Can I bring my child(ren)?

    This event is 21+, and each person with a ticket must bring 6 dozen cookies, so each attendee is expected to participate in the exchange. Space is limited, so there will not be any "guest" tickets sold.

    Q: Will there be a second event date?

    There *may* be additional dates posted if this event sells out, but that is not guaranteed. Ticket sales are FINAL and your purchase is tied to the specific date registered for. Tickets are NOT transferrable should additional dates be posted. 

    Q: What's the refund policy?
    A: No Refunds. Your ticket is valid for the specific date/event for which you purchase. If you are unable to attend the event for any reason - we are not able to issue refunds or transfer your ticket to alternate dates/events. Your ticket is not valid for store credit of any kind.

    Store employees cannot make exceptions to this company policy.
